About
An On Country Experience is a powerful, immersive cultural learning opportunity that takes participants beyond the classroom and onto Country where knowledge is lived, shared and deeply felt.
Grounded in Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing, this experience connects participants to the land, local stories, and cultural practices through direct engagement with Country and community.
On Country learning recognises that Country is the teacher. Through this immersive approach, learning becomes experiential, reflective and deeply personal.
Being on Country creates a deeper level of understanding that cannot be achieved through traditional learning alone.
Participants are guided by cultural facilitators and Elders to experience:
