Our
Vision.

Yula-Punaal Centre and its previous name Yulawirri Nurai Indigenous Association Inc have been at the forefront working heavily within the community bringing unity and sharing between other Aboriginal organisations/groups and the broader community. One of the organisations primary focus and renown for is nurturing Aboriginal Spirituality through both traditional and contemporary healing and cultural practices in every aspect of its operations, programs and service delivery.

Yula-Punaal also envisions that through the establishment of effective partnerships with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community and government groups, that we as a nation, may finally come together as one, rebutting all myths and sharing in one’s culture in the true word: reconciliation.

Yula-Punaal over its inception, has undertaken numerous projects and implemented several innovative programs that have had impacted on the community and are trail blazing initiatives.

Acknowlegement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands, seas and waters which are embedded with our spirit and cultural knowledge. We recognise the powerful connection we have to our spirits, ancestors and to our community.

We pay our deepest respects to our Elders who walked, danced and journeyed the Songlines before us and their dreaming tracks are embedded on this Country for over 80,000 years.
